About

For people who cannot read the whole shelf.

ShortSyllabus started from a simple academic failure: most students do not fail because they never opened the book. They fail because they gave every chapter the same hours. The people who mark papers do not.

We built two products on that observation. The free generator takes everything you already have — notes, slides, past papers, learning outcomes — and distills a short syllabus plus a guideline. It is fast, honest about uncertainty, and surprisingly good when the source pack is complete.

The Premium desk exists because some papers are social. Law, medicine, civil service, literature: a model can see what recurs in your files. A human who has taught or examined the subject knows what the files do not say — the fashion of this cycle, the question that looks optional and is not.

We are not a homework mill and we do not write answers. We write maps: what to study, in what order, and what you have permission to skip. You still do the reading. That is the point.

Coverage with nerve

A short syllabus that refuses to skip the hard high-yield topics just because they are unpleasant.

Sources first

We distill your materials and the exam in front of you — not a generic internet outline.
